A scholarship program to assist current undergraduates pursuing a degree and career in the homebuilding and construction industries.
The Takeoff Scholarship Program was established to foster greater diversity in the homebuilding, construction, building supply, and professional contracting industries – and to help more students from underprivileged backgrounds pursue degrees and careers in the field.
To help those students as they work toward their goals, the program is providing two $10,000 awards to its inaugural class of Takeoff Scholars for the 2022-23 school year. To apply, you must be a college undergraduate who has completed at least 12 college credits at the time of application. Applicants are required to live and go to school in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina or Tennessee, and to self-identify as American Indian or Alaska Native; Black or African American; or Hispanic or Latino.
The Takeoff Scholarship Program has partnered with Scholarship America, the nation’s largest manager of scholarship programs, to administer and support all student applicants. When you click APPLY NOW you will be taken to the Scholarship America website portal to create a new account or login to an existing account.
